Dr. "Hashonah" is the founder of Love Your Life Counseling, Inc. She is a professional therapist with a Doctorate degree in Christian Counseling and over 25 years of counseling. She maintains a private practice in Atlanta Georgia (Northlake/Tucker). Her clients are a myriad of individuals to include blended families, and diverse ethnicities, who seek to improve the quality of their lives.

She utilizes insights and principles derived from the disciplines of theology and the behavioral sciences in working with individuals toward the achievement of wholeness and health. Her areas of specialty are premarital counseling, marital counseling, couples in all stages of relationships, women's issues, parenting, teens, adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and other mood-related and mental disorders.

Life events, such as separation; divorce; bereavement; conflicted or broken relationships; serious illness or injury; or sexual trauma can be overwhelming. Her philosophy to healing for every area in life is this: "I help my clients "safely" explore and work through their feelings, thoughts, beliefs, conscious or unconscious, that may be keeping them stuck, and spirituality is an important part of recovery for many people. I am transparent in my orientation and offer a holistic, integrative approach to client-centered therapy, using traditional psychodynamics, family systems work, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and biblical principles. I temper the process with creativity, imagination, and humor, along with practical solutions and concrete goals. I also work collaboratively with physicians, women's specialists, and nutritionists to provide an optimum level of care.
